We understand the various situations you might be facing with your eyebrows - whether you have no brows, barely noticeable blonde brows, have overplucked and lost your brows, or simply need assistance in filling your arches. Rest assured, we are here to help you achieve naturally full and timeless looking brows.
Blading utilises the precise application of small medical steel needles in a U shape to gently incise the skin and implant pigment. This technique is primarily recommended for clients with dry to normal skin types who are under 50 years old to achieve impeccably healed outcomes.
I understand that we are now at a familiar stage. We have already discussed your expectations, and I have explained how we can achieve the desired results.
On the day of your treatment, it is completely normal to feel a bit anxious and concerned. You may not know what to expect. But rest assured, once you sit in my chair, I will ensure that you feel comfortable and relaxed. You will be pleasantly surprised to know that most of my clients actually doze off after just one pass (typically two or three passes are done).
Once we complete all the necessary forms, we will begin brow mapping, using your natural brow as a guide. This process helps us refine your brow to create balance and suit your personal style. I will be utilising various tools and techniques to draw a proper sketch.
During the sketching stage, Inez will decide and explain the tools she will be using and the details of the treatment to ensure that you are fully involved.
Selecting the right colour to complement your skin tone and hair colour is one of the most crucial parts of the procedure. I will provide recommendations and professional advice to help you make the correct choice.
After finalising the brow sketch and agreeing on the pigment colour, you will lie down on the bed in preparation for the procedure. Using a manual pen, Inez will gently infuse the pigment into the upper layers of your skin. You may experience a sensation similar to scratching the surface of your skin.
Please feel free to ask any questions or express any concerns you may have. Your comfort and satisfaction are of utmost importance to me throughout the entire process.
Before your microblading treatment, avoid working out 24 hours prior. Refrain from alcohol or caffeine 48 hours before. Avoid sun exposure and tanning one week prior. Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, or Ibuprofen 48 hours before. Avoid Fish Oil and Prenatal Vitamins 48 hours before. Discontinue Retin-A at least 2 weeks prior and avoid the eyebrow area after. Refrain from using Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products near the eyebrows 2 weeks prior and after. Avoid Botox and fillers on the forehead, temple, and eye area one month prior if not regularly used. Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or facials 4 weeks prior. Note: Sensitivity may increase during your menstrual cycle.
Things to avoid during healing
First Seven Days
* Do not pick, scratch or peel the healing area
* Do not apply any make-up or products on eyebrows
* Avoid sleeping on the face
* Avoid direct sun exposure
* Avoid working out to prevent sweating
* Avoid water on eyebrows during shower for at least 7 days or until healed
* Avoid facial massage, facial steaming, sauna, hot tubs, long hot showers, long hot baths, ANYTHING that can make you sweat
In The Next 30 Days
* Avoid sunbathing, solarium, light therapies, chemical peelings, fruit acids, microdermabrasion, and creams that contain regeneration factors.
Always avoid laser treatments over the treated area (Fraxel Laser, IPL), because they can destroy the pigment and cause burns.
Use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to faster pigment fading
Healing process
Day 1 Dark and swollen
Day 2-4 Extra dark no longer swollen
Day 4-6 flaking. Not to be confused with scabbing. Following proper aftercare on day one will prevent scabbing. Do not pick or pull at flaking
After flaking phase is a “light phase” because top layer of skin is healed but bottom layers are not yet
Day 30-35 fully healed
